Recently Saudi Arabia launched Temporary Work Visa for 180 days duration. In March 2021, the government of Saudi Arabia announced Temporary Work Visa will now allow the visa holder to stay for an initial period of six months. Holders of this visa can also apply for an extension of the temporary work visa for 180 days only once.
Saudi Arabia-based companies looking to hire Indians to Saudi Arabia for short-term work may now do so by getting quotas of this Temporary Work visa for 180 days online. This visa is valid for one year from the date of issuance & allows Indians to work in Saudi Arabia for up to six months in that one-year period without applying for residence or a work permit.
Requirements for the employer to get a Temporary Work Visa are:
Valid commercial registration of the employer in Saudi Arabia.
All foreign national employees must have valid work permits.
Saudi Arabian Company must be compliant with Saudi Arabia’s Wage Protection System.
Saudi Arabian employer must have a Medium Green color status or higher of the Nitaqat color categories
Requirements for Temporary Work Visa:
Passport of applicant should be valid for at least six (6) months with 2 blank pages.
Recent passport size color photograph with a white background.
A completed application form filled-out with a black ink pen or printed.
A copy of the temporary work contract with the host company in Saudi Arabia.
